Casual Games

Children and adults of any skill level are welcome to join the club, socialize and play casually with each other from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Friday nights. We provide chess sets, boards and clocks. Please note, however, that we can't guarantee that you will find someone to play casual games with because a great majority of our club members play rated games in the tournaments (all children and adults of any skill level are welcome to join the tournaments - see the tournament tabs for more info). 

For casual games, you only need to have the following membership:

• Canadian Japanese Cultural Center Membership
• $30/year for individuals, $50/year for families, $20/year for seniors (above 65 years old)
• This membership fee is mandatory for all club participants.
